Training FAQS
I have the map, but can I get point-to-point driving directions from my hotel to DIT-MCO?
From the Sheraton Suites Hotel, begin at 770 W 47th St on US-56 and go East for 0.9 miles. Continue and go East for 50 feet. Continue on E 47th St,US-56 and go East for 0.6 miles. Continue on Brush Creek Blvd and go East for 0.4 miles. Turn right on Bruce R Watkins Dr,US-71 and go South for 900 feet. Continue on ramp and go Southeast for 0.3 miles. Continue on US-71,Bruce R Watkins Dr and go South for 1.4 miles. Turn left on E 59th St and go East for 1.4 miles. Go over the railroad tracks and immediately after crossing over the railroad tracks, turn left on Brighton Ave and go North for 0.3 miles to 5612 Brighton Terrace. Brighton Ave dead ends at Brighton Terrace and our parking lot. We will be on your left (5612 Brighton Terrace). DIT-MCO International is the last building you will come to on the left.
From the Hilton Garden Inn, Take I-70 West to the I-435 South exit. Continue on I-435 South until the 350 East exit (left exit). Take 350 East to 63rd Street exit. Turn right onto 63rd Street. Turn Right onto Manchester Trafficway (the entrance to Byram’s Ford Industrial Park). Take 1st Left onto Manchester Trafficway Terrace. (Pepsi plant will be on your left.) Follow to stop sign (59th Street). Turn Right onto 59th Street. Cross over railroad tracks and take immediate Left onto Brighton Terrace. DIT-MCO is the last building on your left at the end of Brighton. (5612 Brighton Terrace)
What time do classes start?
Classes start at 8:30AM.
How do I dress for class?
Like everyone else, one leg at a time.
Where do I park once I arrive at DIT-MCO?
After entering through the first entrance of the parking lot, you will see to your left parking reserved for you. The parking spots are marked on the wall in front of them as customer parking. Please fill these spaces first. If they are already filled, feel free to park in other available spots.
What should I bring with me?
We provide you with a pen, notebook, highlighter, Kansas City literature packet, and various training materials for the class you are taking. If there is anything else you need, please bring it along.
What do we do for lunch?
DIT-MCO International has a breakroom equipped with vending machines where you can purchase food and drinks. The breakroom also has a couple of refrigerators and several microwaves available for your use. The classroom has its own coffee maker.
There are a number of sit-down as well as fast-food restaurants nearby. Maps will be provided for you when you arrive. Also feel free to ask DIT-MCO employees for our lunch time favorites.
Can I have training conducted on-site at my company?

I'm coming to Kansas City for class--how do I get to my hotel from the airport?
For the Sheraton Suites: Take the Airport Exit off Bern Street (for car rentals). Take I-29/71 South to Kansas City exit. Right lane is exit only. Stay on I-29 to 3-way intersection (approx. 9 miles). Stay to the far left lane for I-29. I-29 joins I-35/71 South just outside of downtown at another 3-way intersection. Keep to the middle lane (35 South). There will be a right lane exit. Take I-35 South (Exit 2A). Stay in the middle lane for I-35 south. Take the Southwest Trafficway Exit #1A (left lane exit). Follow Southwest Trafficway to the Country Club Plaza area. Turn left onto Belleview. Turn left onto Roanoke Parkway. Turn left onto 47th for 1 block to Summit. Sheraton Suites is at the corner of 47th and Summit.
For the Hilton: Take I-435 East (which changes to I-435 South) to I-70 East (left lane exit). Take I-70 East to Exit 17 (Little Blue Parkway). At the light turn left onto Little Blue Parkway. At the 2nd light make a left onto East Jackson Drive. Follow East Jackson Drive to the Hotel.
