DLY

Using the Delay command and the time specified in seconds (S) instructs the system to pause and do nothing for the specified length of time. A space must separate DLY and the time. The most common use of the DLY command is to program a delay time for an external energization power source or a time-delay relay to stabilize.

The programmer may also add an optional message enclosed in quotation marks to display to the test operator. The text window remains active for the duration of the DLY and automatically closes after the specified delay has elapsed.
