ESD

Use the ESD command to specify the device for the test results log. For example, the command “ESD DSK” would direct the test results log to write to a disk file. Use the SEL or SAL commands with the ESD command to save the test results log file.

If a file name is specified in the SEL or SAL command and “ESD DSK” is entered at the end of the test script, NETS searches the appropriate directory for the result file named by the SEL/SAL command. If the directory does not exist, NETS creates a new directory. If the file exists, the new results are appended to the existing file. If the file is in use, the message “Could not write to log!” is written to the console output.
