Ethernet over Network
DitNLA uses DHCP by default, so Static IP addresses do not need to be configured. This is the preferred method for ease of use. The Static IP option allows the user to customize the system to prevent interference with their networks. It is strongly recommended that the user consult with their IT department before changing any IP settings. The default IP settings for DHCP and Static are listed below.
| DHCP | ON |
| Default Static IPv4 Address | 192.168.0.2 |
| Default Subnet Mask | 255.255.255.0 |
| Default Gateway | 192.168.0.1 |
Follow these steps to configure DitNLA using DHCP:
- Connect the Ethernet cable between the network connection and the Analyzer.
- Power on the Analyzer.
- Boot up the Computer with NETS installed.
- Select the DitNLA utility from the Windows System Tray and right-click to open the application.
- Verify that the Analyzer Information appears under the Host PC section.
- Click on the Associate button to initiate the connection.
- Verify that the Connected With Associate message is displayed.
- Launch NETS to finish configuring the system.
