Low Order Leakage Insulation Test
F 500V >100M .15T .2S
In any electrical installation, some current will flow through the protective ground conductor to ground. This is usually called leakage current. Leakage current most commonly flows in the insulation surrounding conductors and the filters protecting electronic equipment.
The tag letter “F” is a standard use for a low order leakage test. Whenever using a voltage above 30V, a minimum dwell should be applied.
