Suspected Fault

The Suspected Fault section of the Detail Pane displays the fault analysis of errors, listing possible causes of failure based on error metrics. Suspected faults may be one or more of the following:

  • Missing Connector - determined when all continuity tests in the connector fail.
  • Open Connection - determined when one or more failed continuity tests occur, such as a pushed pin.
  • Miswired - determined based on isolation or leakage errors.
  • Component Failure - determined when connector test results include one or more component failures, such as a failed resistance test, diode test, or capacitance test.
