System Power Up

NETS is designed to work with Parallel or Ethernet interfaces. No special setup is required when selecting the Parallel hardware interface. If using Ethernet, the next section provides instructions for setting up the Analyzer with DitNLA. Follow these steps to power on the analyzer:

  1. Verify that the interface connection (Ethernet or Parallel) between the Analyzer and the Computer exists.
  2. Turn on the power of the Computer on which NETS is installed.
  3. Turn on the power of the Analyzer. If it is a model 2650, the CB1 switch on the back panel must be flipped to "ON" before the power button on the front panel is used to power the unit.
  4. (2650 only) Ensure at least one Switching Module is attached to the Analyzer using a daisy chain cable, or a switching error code will be displayed on the Analyzer front face.
