Test Script Flow

The NETS programmer writes a Test Script containing all the test instructions. It comprises Parameter Statements, Modes, Directives, Switching Codes, script customizations, and Test Instructions. Here is the sequence of events:

  1. The test script is executed, and NETS forwards the instructions to the DIT-MCO Test Instrument.
  2. The Test Instrument processes the instructions and applies the stimulus to the Unit Under Test.
  3. The Test Instrument measures the Unit Under Test at the stimulus defined in the parameter statement.
  4. The measurement is completed, and the Test Instrument makes a PASS/FAIL decision based on the test limits defined in the parameter statement. It returns the decision and measured values to the NETS software.
  5. NETS processes, records, and displays the results.
