Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works under the limited supervision of the Test Supervisor.
- Performs assignments which may, or may not be, standardized.
- Performs Functional Testing, Troubleshooting and Repair of printed circuit assemblies, cables and chassis assemblies. Inspects parts to quality standards.
- May perform one or more of the following functions:
- Inspect products for proper assembly and quality of work.
- Performs testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic sub-assemblies of moderate complexity.
- Extracts and processes test data.
- Build and test engineering prototypes.

What You’ll Do
• Assemble electronic parts using hand tools and assembly machines
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, and process plans
• Measure, cut, and prep wire; install terminals; crimp, pin, and route cables
• Load PCAs (printed circuit assemblies) with components and perform hand soldering
• Complete complex electro-mechanical builds, including final chassis assemblies

Hiring Manager Job Title: Customer Service Manager
Employment Status: Full-Time Regular
Job Summary
This position entails installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at customer sites within the domestic market. Responsibilities include promptly responding to customer inquiries via telephone and email, as well as traveling to customer locations to address equipment issues or perform installations as required. May be required to repair boards and subassemblies returned by customers.
Education and Experience
• Associate’s degree in electronics or Electronic Technician Certification, however, demonstrable expertise in the job requirements will be considered.
• US Citizen
• Must be able to legally gain access to restricted US military facilities.
• Experience with basic electronic elements, circuitry, troubleshooting, and computer networking.
• Minimum of three years of specific and related industry experience, preferred.
•Experience with PC network setup, troubleshooting, and at least one programming language, preferred.
Skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and a thorough understanding of Windows O/S
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, quality, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely and informed decisions.
• The ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially.

Primary Job Duties
• Troubleshoot and repair DIT-MCO test equipment, software, and associated computers at customer sites and our in-house test lab.
• Prepare and submit detailed written service reports; document and track ongoing service issues through an internal system.
• Respond to service inquiries/help solve customer issues via telephone, e-mail, and remote PC sessions.
• Effectively communicate issues and concerns with customers, manufacturing repair personnel, and the sales team.
• Identify new sales and system upgrade opportunities.
• Extensive travel is required for this position.

What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day technical support to production personnel
- Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, tooling, and manufacturing process issues
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and verification of production fixtures, tooling, carts, and support equipment
- Support implementation of engineering changes and updated work instructions
- Verify assemblies and manufactured parts meet engineering drawings and quality requirements
- Update manufacturing documentation, visual work instructions, labels, and standard operating procedures
- Assist in training production employees on revised assembly methods and best practices
- Perform hands-on assembly and rework when needed to support production schedules
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to improve productivity, quality, and workflow
What You Bring
- U.S. Citizenship
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered)
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, production support, engineering technician, or assembly experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment is highly desirable..
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical work instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with AutoCAD, 3D CAD, or CNC machine programming
- Experience in cable harness assemblies, electrical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or electronic test equipment manufacturing
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires:
- Good or corrected vision, including the ability to distinguish colors
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and standard office technology
- Ability to move throughout the production facility and remain in stationary positions as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50 pounds
